From the Cell

A commentor posts a link to the American Daughter's interesting theory on the ultimate goals of whatever forces are driving the riots in France:

Remember India? What is happening now in France parallels what happened in India and led to the separation of territory that became Pakistan.

Don’t be surprised if France is partitioned within the decade.
The speculation is backed up with a couple of articles. I think it's a bit too early to say whether there are forces behind the riots more organized than rage and petty thrills, but it appears that might be the case. It's even earlier to begin talking about the partition of France, although the concept is not nearly so . . . unthinkable . . . as it was even a month ago. I will agree that if Europe doesn't get its act pulled together, its map may look different 50-100 years from now. And it wouldn't be the first time, now would it?
